Hurricane Irene

To all our followers,
Thanks for following! Here are a few tips to prepare for the coming weather event.

• It is essential that your roof has the ability to properly drain. You should clean all gutters and around all roof drains. Allowing the water to leave the roof is critical in heavy rain periods.
• Any debris or loose items should be removed from your roof.
• In a very windy rain it is possible for things to leak that would not leak in a normal rain so be aware that a few drips from an exhaust vent or a louver does not necessarily mean you have a problem with your roof membrane.
• If you elect to check on your roof please be sure to not do it while it is raining and use a proper ladder with proper set-up. The perfect performance of your roof won’t matter much if you are not around to take care of your family so please be safe.

Cole Roofing is prepared to respond to an emergency situation if one arises. In the event of an emergency we ask that you contact our office via our direct phone line. We will also be monitoring facebook and twitter so if the phones don't work, (like after the earthquake...) try us there.

We sincerely hope that your roof performs during this critical time but if the need arises we can be there to help.
Please feel free to pass this information on to other building owners you may know who might be in need.
Thanks again for following!
The Cole Roofing Team!
